Title: Institute Scholars

Location: Chickasaw Nation

My first memory of a doctor was in a tribal clinic, where as a sick child I watched fascinated as the doctors worked and knew how to make people feel better. I participated in the Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health Summer Institute to advance my skills in research, communication, and community health, which I aspire to put into practice as a future physician-scientist.
