Tending Our Roots is a conversation-based podcast that uplifts Indigenous voices, knowledge, and ways of being as pathways to well-being. Hosted by Dr. Miigis Gonzalez (Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe) and Dr. Jill Fish (lineal descendant of the Tuscarora Nation), the podcast creates space for stories grounded in relationships—to land, to community, to spirit, and to self.

Registration is open for the 2026 Johns Hopkins Global Health Summer Institute! We are excited to offer several week-long courses in Indigenous public health this summer.

Three are new courses that are part of our upcoming Indigenous Health DrPH curriculum. This is the only year these courses will be offered during Summer Institute, so don’t miss the opportunity to “test run” them before applying to the full program. Deadline for scholarships is April 1.
