Biography

Julia joined the Behavioral Health team at the Center for Indigenous Health in 2008 where she led the Center’s regulatory work. In 2011, she moved to Colorado where she led a team of coordinators conducting an international study of the genetics of Pulmonary Fibrosis. She then returned to the Center in 2021 to continue working on regulatory compliance and clinical trials. Julia is deeply passionate about promoting the health of American Indian families.

She received an MHS degree in Population, Family, and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Public Policy at William and Mary. Outside of work, Julia enjoys handstands, running at sunrise and cooking with her daughters.
