Biography

Rose joined the Center for Indigenous Health in December of 2014. She serves as Sr. Communications Advisor for the Center, providing strategic advice on public engagement and advocacy strategies to scale up evidence-based practices across Indigenous communities. Rose led the strategy for a national COVID-19 communications campaign that reached 8 million people in Native communities, encouraging uptake of vaccination to fight the spread of the virus across Indian Country. She is also affiliated with the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) which conducts qualitative research to inform communications and advocacy strategies for projects accelerating vaccine access.

Rose received her bachelor’s degree from Vassar College, her MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and is enrolled in the BSPH DrPH program in Implementation Science, aiming to apply these methods to adapt strengths-based practices developed in Native communities to health programs across the U.S.
