Biography

Tori joined the Center for Indigenous Health in December of 2021 as a Research Associate with the Infectious Disease team. She primarily provides technical support and coordination for bacterial surveillance and carriage projects as well as SARS-CoV-2 testing and strain surveillance. Prior to joining the Center, Tori supported Navajo Nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic as an Epidemiologist. Her previous work has also included monitoring and evaluation of neglected tropical disease eradication and control programs in South Sudan, secondary evaluation of an alert-response cholera control strategy in Haiti, and HIV/AIDS community outreach in South Africa. Tori has a BS in Human Development from Cornell University and an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University.
