Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center has been proud to forge partnerships and build relationships across Indian Country to fight the spread of the virus. The Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health is producing materials related to COVID-19 for tribes to distribute in partnership with Indian Health Service and with support from the Walmart Foundation.

Materials are produced with oversight from an advisory group representing over 15 tribal communities across the U.S. The Center also engages our Indigenous faculty and staff based out of the Center’s offices in Arizona, Maryland, Minnesota, New Mexico, as well as colleagues based on tribal lands in California, Michigan, and Montana.

For more information about the advisory group or COVID-19 materials for tribes, contact Justin Mayhew at jmayhew2@jhmi.edu.
