I chose to take my grandfathers advice to go and learn the things I never did. After studying at the Johns Hopkins Winter Institute, I enrolled in the Master of Public Health program. Then I was inspired by caring for a family member to pursue a nursing degree. I am now a nurse caring for Indian peoples in my home state
