About
Aaron is a member of the Navajo Nation, born for Táchii’nii (Red Running into the Water People clan). His maternal grandpa is of the Naasht’ézhi dine’é (Zine), and his paternal grandpa is African American. He joined the Center in November, 2023. Aaron is a Research Program Assistant who assists in planning projects for The Honoring Life and Native Rise Projects.
Before joining the Center, Aaron worked with a nonprofit organization called Navajo Yes. He learned to work with kids and communities by engaging with them through bike repair classes. Aaron earned his AA degree in science from Utah State University and will be continuing his education as a part-time student at Utah State University, pursuing a BA in psychology
