Justin Giehm (Navajo/Diné) joined CIH in April 2026 as a Health Educator with the +Language is Medicine (+LIM) project. Prior to joining CIH, Justin worked in applied behavior analysis (ABA) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In this role, he helped children with autism develop social and life skills using Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Justin also worked as a medical receptionist at a pediatric primary care clinic, where he communicated sensitive client information with providers and medical assistants. In addition, Justin contributes to the development and maintenance of the +LIM website.

In addition to his experience in public health, Justin has spent more than a decade working professionally as a dancer, model, and actor. He is known for his work in the TV series Jamestown and the film The Ridiculous 6. Justin became a member of Dancing Earth in 2014 under the direction of founder Rulan Tangen, which led to his casting in Jamestown, filmed in Europe, and Doctor Atomic with director Peter Sellars at the Santa Fe Opera. As a company member of Dancing Earth, he also performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

In 2023, Justin was cast as “Sonny” in Bear Grease, performing in communities throughout the United States and Canada. During the production, he also showcased his choreography at prestigious venues, including the National Arts Centre. He concluded his run with the production Off-Broadway in New York City in 2025.

Through his work and travels to Indigenous communities across Turtle Island and beyond, Justin has discovered that his true passion is working with and inspiring communities and youth.
