Kevin Eagle Heart is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe who joined the Center in January 2025. Kevin works on the Great Plains Together Overcoming Diabetes (TOD) project. His role focuses on program evaluation, data collection, quality, and analysis in collaboration with the Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board – Special Diabetes Program for Indians.
Kevin is motivated by a commitment to supporting Indigenous community health through research, evaluation, and evidence-based practice. His interests include applied genomics, population health, and using data to inform community-driven health initiatives. Outside of work, he values time with family and is dedicated to continuous learning in service of Native communities.
