Biography
Tiffani is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation. She is Tótsohnii (Big Water) and born for ‘Áshįįhi (Salt People). Her maternal grandpa is Tódich’ii’nii (Bitter Water) and her paternal grandpa is Honágháahnii (One-walks-around). She joined the Center for Indigenous Health in December of 2021. Tiffani works as a Research Associate in Albuquerque, NM and is involved in the implementation, coordination and evaluation of behavioral health programs including Azhe’é Bidziil and the Asdzaan Be’eena program.
Prior to joining the Center, Tiffani worked at the University of Arizona on two projects where she coordinated training research programs that focused on cancer research, healthcare, and the biomedical sciences. She also mentored Native undergraduates and post-graduate students.
Tiffani received her BS in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University and her MPH from the University of Arizona. During her academic career, she focused on community outreach projects with tribes in Arizona.
Tiffani is based in Tucson, AZ.
