Biography
Loretta is Kul Wicasa Lakota and Hunkpati Dakota. Her primary role is supporting Co-Director Dr. Donald Warne with academic and administrative tasks including building a Global Indigenous Health Researchers platform and Indigenous DrPH program. Loretta has experience working both on and off the reservation, in different professional capacities. Most recently she assisted senior staff at the directors level at IHS Headquarters in the diversity equity and inclusion areas. Loretta also brings several years of experience in the biomedical research field at NIH specifically NIDCR, including 3 publications.
