Biography
Shanece, a member of the Diné Nation, is Ma’ii deeshgiizhnii (Coyote Clan), born for the T’abaaha (Water’s Edge Clan). Her maternal grandfather is Ashiihnii (Salt People Clan) and her paternal grandfather is Naakai dine’e (The Mexican Clan). She joined the Center in March 2024. Shanece works as a Research Program Assistant in Fort Defiance, AZ. She is a Family Health Educator with the Family Spirit Program. Shanece has worked as a Medical Assistant for 6 years. She enjoys playing basketball, and flying fishing with her daughter.
