Biography
Brinda Sivaramakrishnan, MPH, CHES, is a Research Associate at CIH for the Clinical Trials Network Research Project, an investigation into community priorities for addiction recovery and Telehealth infrastructure in the Great Plains region as of April, 2024. Brinda is part of the Baltimore team, bringing experience from working as a Tribal Epidemiologist and Community Health Faculty in the Pacific Northwest of Turtle Island, and concurrently pursuing a PhD from University of North Dakota in Indigenous Health. Brinda’s interests include community-based participatory research, access to infrastructure and healthcare, and planetary health globally.
Brinda received her BA/BS in Environmental studies and Biology at The Evergreen State College, and Master of Public Health with a focus on Forced Migration and Health at Columbia University. Brinda is of Tamil heritage and a yoga teacher in her spare time. She is honored to work with Indigenous communities and loves the creative aspects of research.
