Biography
Samantha is Maricopa and born for Naaneesht’ezhi Tachii’nii, she joined CIH in October 2024 and is motivated to provide her upmost care and knowledge toward the center and being a part of a great team for helping Indigenous people. She will be working with the Cancer Care Project, focusing on TEAM (Tablet-based Education Acceptance of Mammography.) Samantha has her associate’s degree in general studies and is in the process of getting her degree in Biomedical Sciences.
Samantha worked as a Medical Support Assistant and Certified Medical Assistant at River People Health Center. Her previous employment was working as a health technician with Navajo Area Office, being a contact tracer for COVID, in Gallup, NM and Chinle, AZ. Outside of work she loves to be with her family and friends, enjoys reading, going to concerts, and playing volleyball.
