Biography
Kristen joined the Center for Indigenous Health in November of 1998 where she is a Research Associate working with both the behavioral health and training teams. She has worked on both domestic and international public health projects from 1992 to present. Her area of interest is examining the intercultural aspects of health research as well as the process of replicating and disseminating effective public health interventions. Kristen is currently working on initiatives to disseminate the Family Spirit Program in partnership with various communities and organizations around the country and internationally. She also works very closely with the training team to develop and implement the Center’s Training Program.
Kristen received her MA from the University of New Mexico in 1998 and MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2006.
