Biography
Catherine joined the Center for Indigenous Health in September of 2015 and works as an Associate Scientist on the Infectious Disease Team in Baltimore. She is involved in studies to understand the burden of infectious diseases, including invasive bacterial infections and respiratory infections. She is also involved in clinical trials of interventions to reduce the burden of these diseases.
Prior to joining the Center, Catherine worked largely on childhood infections in low resource settings, including studies of pediatric HIV in Zambia and invasive bacterial infections in India.
Catherine has a MS and PhD in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
