Biography

Cindy is an enrolled tribal member of the White Mountain Apache Trible on the Fort Apache Reservation. She is Nagodishgizhn (Between two hills people) and born of the Biszaha (adobe cut bank people between Kinishba and Cedar Creek.) Cindy joined the Center for Indigenous Health in April of 2016. Cindy works with communities on the Fort Apache reservation conducting follow ups interviews on suicide ideation, suicide attempts, self-injurious behaviors, binge drinking, wellness checks. Cindy enjoys working with and helping her tribal members to promote wellness and prevent suicide.

Cindy enjoys keeping active with her grandchildren, walking, hiking and Zumba. She loves photography, reading and beading.
