Biography
Cody is a member of the Navajo Nation and is from the community of Lukachukai, AZ. His clans are Maii Deeshgiizhnii (Coyote-Pass Clan), being born for Tabaahi (Big Water Edge Clan). His maternal grandfather’s clan is Ta’neezahani (Tangle Clan), and his paternal grandfather’s clan is Tachiinii (Red Running into Water).
Cody joined the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health in 2025 as a research assistant, working with project A.W.A.R.E. Wildcats (PAWs) in Chinle, AZ. He received his Associate’s degree in Social & Behavioral Sciences from Diné College and is currently working on his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He has future plans of obtaining a Master’s degree.
