
Biography
Gloria was raised by her grandmother on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. She is an enrolled tribal member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Her clan is Dishchiidn (Horizontally Red People). She first joined the Center for Indigenous Health in 2019 as the Cancer Care Coordinator. In this role, she also supported the Center during the COVID pandemic, where she worked tirelessly to help her people with supplies, as well as being an unblinded verifier for the Pfizer study.
Gloria rejoined the Center in 2024, where she currently works as a Sr. Administrative Coordinator in Whiteriver, AZ, and helps support all behavioral and mental health programs offered at the Whteriver Site. Gloria’s passion has always been to help her community to grow. She has two daughters, one of which is currently enrolled at ASU. She loves to go horseback riding, and loves to read. She also enjoys learning new hobbies, such as beading and as of recently, traditional moccasin making.
