Biography

Hanna Foster joined the Center for Indigenous Health in 2020 as the IRB and Regulatory Manager. She works closely with all levels of Center and tribal constituencies and is responsible for managing the regulatory aspects of more than 79 active studies being conducted by Center faculty and staff.

Prior to joining the Center, Hanna worked as a Research Project Coordinator within the Department of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Northwestern University where she managed two NHLBI-funded research studies focusing on peripheral artery disease.

Hanna received her MS degree in Global Health through the Eck Institute at the University of Notre Dame in 2019 and brings with her a breadth of public health experience. While at the University of Notre Dame, Hanna led a study to identify the prevalence of human papillomavirus infection in women in Santo Domingo, Ecuador.
