Biography

Jamie, from the Diné Nation. She is Kinyaa’áanii(Towering House Clan), born for Naasht’ézhí Tábąąhí (Water’s Edge-Zuni), her grandfathers are Tó’aheedlíinii (Water flows together) and her paternal grandfathers are Tsi’naajinii (Black Streaked Wood). She joined the Center in March of 2024.

Jamie works as a Research Associate in Chinle, Arizona for the Diné Household Water Survey. Jamie has her Associate of Science in Public Health and Health Occupations. She is also currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Jamie’s hobbies include hiking, traveling and beading on her spare times. She is family oriented and spends all her quality time with her family especially her children who she loves dearly.
