Jeremy Begay

Biography

Jeremy is a member of the Navajo Nation. He attended Dine College in 2015 after graduating High School. He wanted to become an aerospace engineer, however, needing to take care of his family he switched majors to public health in order to stay close to home.

Jeremy has an AA degree in Liberal Arts and BS in Public Health from Dine College. Having intern with Johns Hopkins in spring of 2022, Jeremy found his passion when working with his community. He wishes to help rejuvenate the Navajo culture by instilling reverence, humility, duality, and modesty through the Strong Fathers program. Jeremy joined the Center in the fall of 2023. He works as a Research Program Assistant in Tuba City, AZ.

Jeremy has been working with the Strong Fathers program as one of the facilitators. He helps with outreach initiatives, conducting workshops, and assists with other programs when he is needed.
