Biography
Kaitlin joined the Center for Indigenous Health in 2009 at the Center’s Albuquerque, NM location as a Senior Research Program Coordinator. She focused on community health programs within Santo Domingo Pueblo, and during this time, she developed a passion for public health, primarily in Indigenous communities. In 2014, she moved to Amarillo, TX, where she managed AmeriCorps Seniors and Health Services grant programs at aCommunity Action Agency in the Texas Panhandle. In 2024, she returned to the Center as a Research Associate II and now works remotely under Dr. Emily Haroz, assisting with developing, implementing, and evaluating Behavioral and Mental Health programs. She loves to work collaboratively with communities to make lasting positive health impacts.
Kaitlin holds a Master of Public Health from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from Texas Tech University. In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys running with friends, making getaways to the NM mountains, and spending time with her family. She is committed to living a healthy and purposeful life.
