Biography

Lucy (she/her/hers) is a non-native ally who grew up on Miwok lands in the Bay Area of California. She works as a Research Associate on several projects, focused on harm reduction, mental health, and sexual and reproductive health with the Center. Prior to joining the Center as an Associate, Lucy was a work-study fellow with the Center as a graduate student at JHU. She received her master’s degree in Social Behavioral Interventions, focusing on qualitative research and analysis. Before embarking on her master’s degree, she was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia, teaching middle and high school students about healthy habits and safe relationships.

In her free time, Lucy likes to bake, run, and knit lumpy sweaters. She also likes to cook, preferably for other people, and annoy her cat, Boob.
