Biography
Marlena joined the Center for Indigenous Health in July of 1997. She works as an Administrative Program Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the Director of the Center. She helps coordinate the NativeVision Year-Round Program and NativeVision Sports and Life Skills Camp. She also assists as needed with the Center’s Administration team, Behavioral and Mental Health programs, Infectious Disease team, and Training team. Marlena is passionate about promoting health and well-being in Native communities.
She is currently pursuing her BA degree in Business Management. Marlena is very passionate about lacrosse. She is responsible for the establishment and management of a girls lacrosse program in her township. She has also coached girls lacrosse for over 20 years. Marlena loves spending time with her husband and two daughters.
