Biography
Nasir was born and grew up in Afghanistan. He joined the Center for Indigenous Health in August of 2022 as a Sr. Grants and Contracts Analyst with the finance team in Baltimore.
He is responsible for the preparation of proposal budgets and financial reports, management of grants from the pre to post award stage, compliance of all grant related areas and prepares other related reports to department leadership and stakeholders.
Prior to joining the Center, Nasir worked as supervisor with Chartwells higher education, providing services to Towson University. Back in Afghanistan, Nasir had more than 5 years of management experience with international development institutions, including the US Embassy, USAID, GIZ and British Council.
He has an MBA with a concentration in project management and a bachelors degree in economics.
