Natalie Tibbels

Biography

Natalie Tibbels joined the Center for Indigenous Health in January 2025 to support research and evaluation activities, beginning with the LEGO SPIRIT project. Prior to joining CIH, Natalie designed and implemented formative research studies, monitoring systems and evaluations for social and behavior change activities alongside teams in West and Southern Africa. Her background is in vaccine acceptance, maternal and child health, child protection, HIV, and risk communication/community engagement for outbreaks of emerging and epidemic-prone diseases. 

Natalie has an MSPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Health Education and Health Communication and a BA in Chemistry. She enjoys cooking, podcasts, action movies, spreadsheets, her dog, and spending time at libraries and playgrounds with her husband and 2 sons. She is based in the city of Chester, Pennsylvania.
