Nicole joined the Center for Indigenous Health in November of 2005. Nicole is currently a Senior Research Associate and works out of the Center’s Albuquerque, New Mexico office. She works with community-based and project management teams to implement behavioral and mental health programs with partner communities in the Southwest. Nicole also directs the operations for national dissemination of the Family Spirit Home Visiting Program. She is inspired by the unique strengths among all Center colleagues and within our partner communities, and is continually motivated by the shared vision for improved health and well-being among all of the families and children we serve. She is constantly learning from our community-based colleagues and partners about how to best facilitate the development of effective public health programs that can be sustained by the communities.
Nicole received her BS from Colby College and her MPH from Boston University School of Public Health. Upon relocating to New Mexico in 2005, she fell in love the culture and lands of the Southwest. She loves spending time outdoors with her daughters and husband.
