Biography

Savannah Burke (Navajo) is Bitter Water clan, born for the Water Flows Together clan. Her maternal grandfather’s clan is Many Hogans, and her paternal grandfather’s clan are The Tangle People. Savannah joined the Behavioral Health Team at Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health in 2020. She has worked on previous studies such as the PROTECT Project and assisted with the COVID-19 testing and vaccination events. Currently, she works on the Family Spirit Nurture, Dine Hydration, and Smoke Alarm Projects.

Savannah earned her BS in Human Nutrition and MS in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from New Mexico State University.
