Biography
Wanda was raised in the area of Pine Springs Arizona, Tees’ ei’ a’hi’. She is a member of the Dine’ nation, her clan is of the Salt Water clan, To’dikozhi, born for the Honey Combed Rock clan, Tse’ji’kini, maternal grandfather’s clan is of the Towering House clan, Nooda’i Kin Ya’a’anii, and paternal grandfather’s clan are One Who Walks Around clan, Honaghahnii.
Wanda works with the Infectious Disease Prevention team based in Gallup, New Mexico. She has worked with many studies involving adults, children, infants and elders in the community. She has also worked at the Shiprock site, Chinle, Ft. Defiance, Crownpoint, Winslow and the White Mountain Apache Reservation. She has been committed to her Profession since 1989. Wanda has worked on numerous vaccine studies throughout the years
