There are still so few public health professionals from the Pueblos of New Mexico, it’s like coming across a unicorn when I meet someone. We bring unique experiences and perspectives that will only enhance the field of public health. I seek to advance home-visiting practice and evaluation. We are beginning to understand that without quality, culturally-relevant, and sensitive evaluation, our programs will not continue or may be misguided.
